Mainboard Problem/Sucht

    Hi!
    Ich hab folgendes Problem, mein Wissen über Computer Hardware ist doch sehr beschränkt und so hoffe ich das mir hier jemand bei der Auswahl eines passenden Mainboards helfen kann.

    Ich spiele leidenschaftlich gerne Counter Strike 1.6 leide jedoch unter einem 567Mhz Celeron. Aufrüsten kam mir aber bislang nie in den Sinn :-D.

    Nun bekam ich gestern einen alten Rechner von einem Bekannten aufgedrückt, mit samt einem AMD Duron Prozessor (1194Mhz)
    der leider garnicht so schnell auf dem dortigen Mainboard "Elitegroup (ECS) - K7SOM+" läuft.
    Ich habe mir das ganze System mittels eines Diagnose Programms mit dem Namen "FreshDiagnose" mal angeschaut und die Infos auch abgespeichert, dort wurde mir dann ein Max. Prozessor Speed auf dem Mainboard mit 300mhz angezeigt (Board vielleicht beschädigt oder ist das der normal unterstütze Max Speed??) :-(.

    Ich kann den Prozessor jedoch leider nicht auf meinem alten Board "MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD - 6A6LJM4B" benutzen, da es für den Prozessor einen Socket 370 gibt und der AMD nur mit Slot A / Socket A zu verwenden ist.
    Auch hat das Elitegroup Board eine ziemlich bescheidenen Grafikkartenchipsatz und keinen AGP Slot womit ich meine GeForce5200 leider auch vergessen kann/könnte.

    Also, RAM Grafikkarte CPU+Kühler Festplatten Netzwerkkarte etc ist alles vorhanden, nur das Board zickt eben rum.

    Kann mir jemand eventuell ein kostengünstiges und für meine Bedürfnisse zu empfehlendes Board nennen?
    Oder weiss jemand Rat bei dem oben genannten MaxSpeed 300Mhz Problem helfen?

    Wie gesagt ich habe leider nicht allzuviel Ahnung von dem ganzen aber durch gezielten informationsaustausch hoffe ich doch irgendwie an Hilfe zu gelangen

    Hi, stimmt schon.. dank dir hab ich diese Funktion nun auch entdeckt :-D

    Wollte es auch gerade schon ändern.. aber andererseits,stört die jetzige Präsentationsform denn derartig?? Ist schon etwas viel zum scrollen aber so kann sich auch jeder gleich ein Bild von meiner Milchtüte machen :].

    Du weisst nicht zufällig Rat mein Problem betreffend?
