    However, I say, that introducing XP Starter Edition doesn't take big advantages to Microsoft, because an illegal copy of Windows is much cheaper than the 35 $ for the Starter Edition, but the disadvantages of not running more than three tasks at one time and the not having network capabilities would interest companies selling industrial computers i. e. for measuring purposes to have a sleek windows version for their software.

    If I was in these countries and if I am low in money, I'd black copy XP Professional or Home and much of our friends there will do the same.

    So, Microsoft has two fall backs, the programing time for Starter Edition AND the missing license costs.
