Seltsame Aussetzter mit Samsung SH-W162C

Hallo

Ich habe seit einiger Zeit folgendes Problem:

Der von Mir eingebaute Samsung CD/DVD-Brenner meldet ab und an beim Brennen mit Nero 7 einen "E/A - Gerätefehler"
Ebenso ist er sehr wählerisch im Lesen von Medien aller Art. Mal geht es reibungslos, mal braucht er ewig und an den Lesegeräuschen erkennt man auch, das irgendetwas nicht stimmt. CD-Rohlinge erkennt er unter Windows in aller Regel gar nicht. Ausserdem wirft er alle Medien immer noch in "voller Fahrt", d.h. sich noch drehend aus. Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte? Mein PC ist in dieser Konfiguration seit April 2006, die Laufwerke tun Ihren Dienst allerdings schon seit Ende 2005. Nero (genauso wie alle anderen Softwarekomponenten) wird ständig aktuell gehalten. Derzeitige Versionsnummer ist 7.7.5.1

Da es erstens sehr nervig ist wie an der Losbude darauf zu hoffen, das das Gerät das tut was es soll und zweitens ich schon mindestens einen Pack Rohlinge auf diese Art entsorgen durfte, bin ich für jede Idee dankbar.

E/A-Gerätefehler .. das ist sehr oft ein Hardwareproblem, tausche erstmal das Datenkabel (IDE-Kabel). Wenn das nichts bringt musst du an den Brenner selbst gehen, in anderem Rechner testen oder einen anderen Brenner in deinem Rechner testen. Wie alt ist der Brenner ?

Ergänzung:
Wenn du die Brenner-Software (Nero) nicht verwendest und einfach von einer CD / DVD (möglichst original gepresst, nicht selbst gebrannt) Daten auf die Festplatte kopierst, gibt es dann auch die E/A-Gerätefehler ?

Brenner wurde irgendwann 2005/Anfang 2006 gekauft. Genaues Datum weiss ich nicht mehr, lässt sich aber sicher anhand der Rechnung nachsehen.
